and lays the beams(A) of his upper chambers on their waters.(B)
He makes the clouds(C) his chariot(D)
    and rides on the wings of the wind.(E)
He makes winds his messengers,[a](F)
    flames of fire(G) his servants.

He set the earth(H) on its foundations;(I)
    it can never be moved.
You covered it(J) with the watery depths(K) as with a garment;
    the waters stood(L) above the mountains.
But at your rebuke(M) the waters fled,
    at the sound of your thunder(N) they took to flight;
they flowed over the mountains,
    they went down into the valleys,
    to the place you assigned(O) for them.
You set a boundary(P) they cannot cross;
    never again will they cover the earth.

10 He makes springs(Q) pour water into the ravines;
    it flows between the mountains.
11 They give water(R) to all the beasts of the field;
    the wild donkeys(S) quench their thirst.
12 The birds of the sky(T) nest by the waters;
    they sing among the branches.(U)
13 He waters the mountains(V) from his upper chambers;(W)
    the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work.(X)
