Psalm 104:3-13

New International Version

³     and lays the beams^(A) of his upper chambers on their waters.^(B)
He makes the clouds^(C) his chariot^(D)
    and rides on the wings of the wind.^(E)
4 He makes winds his messengers,^[a](F)
    flames of fire^(G) his servants.

⁵ He set the earth^(H) on its foundations;^(I)
    it can never be moved.
⁶ You covered it^(J) with the watery depths^(K) as with a garment;
    the waters stood^(L) above the mountains.
⁷ But at your rebuke^(M) the waters fled,
    at the sound of your thunder^(N) they took to flight;
⁸ they flowed over the mountains,
    they went down into the valleys,
    to the place you assigned^(O) for them.
⁹ You set a boundary^(P) they cannot cross;
    never again will they cover the earth.

¹⁰ He makes springs^(Q) pour water into the ravines;
    it flows between the mountains.
¹¹ They give water^(R) to all the beasts of the field;
    the wild donkeys^(S) quench their thirst.
¹² The birds of the sky^(T) nest by the waters;
    they sing among the branches.^(U)
13 He waters the mountains^(V) from his upper chambers;^(W)
    the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work.^(X)
