¹⁴ Multitudes,^(A) multitudes
    in the valley^(B) of decision!
For the day of the Lord^(C) is near
    in the valley of decision.^(D)
15 The sun and moon will be darkened,
    and the stars no longer shine.^(E)
16 The Lord will roar^(F) from Zion
    and thunder from Jerusalem;^(G)
    the earth and the heavens will tremble.^(H)
But the Lord will be a refuge^(I) for his people,
    a stronghold^(J) for the people of Israel.
