For people will be (A)lovers of self, (B)lovers of money, (C)boastful, (D)arrogant, (E)slanderers, (F)disobedient to parents, (G)ungrateful, (H)unholy, (I)unloving, irreconcilable, (J)malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, [a](K)haters of good, (L)treacherous, (M)reckless, (N)conceited, (O)lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [b](P)godliness although they have (Q)denied its power; (R)avoid such people as these. For among them are those who [c](S)slip into households and captivate [d](T)weak women weighed down with sins, led on by (U)various impulses, always learning and never able to (V)come to the [e]knowledge of the truth. Just as (W)Jannes and Jambres (X)opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, (Y)men of depraved mind, [f]worthless in regard to the faith.
