⁴ Though they are driven into exile by their enemies,
    there I will command the sword^(A) to slay them.

“I will keep my eye on them
    for harm^(B) and not for good.^(C)”^(D)

¹⁵ The eyes of the Lord^(A) are on the righteous,^(B)
    and his ears are attentive^(C) to their cry;

¹⁶ but the face of the Lord is against^(A) those who do evil,^(B)
    to blot out their name^(C) from the earth.
