⁷ But only the high priest entered^(A) the inner room,^(B) and that only once a year,^(C) and never without blood,^(D) which he offered for himself^(E) and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.^(F)

¹² He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves;^(A) but he entered the Most Holy Place^(B) once for all^(C) by his own blood,^(D) thus obtaining^[a] eternal redemption.

²⁵ Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place^(A) every year with blood that is not his own.^(B)

¹¹ The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering,^(A) but the bodies are burned outside the camp.^(B)
