¹⁷ He put on righteousness as his breastplate,^(A)
    and the helmet^(B) of salvation on his head;
he put on the garments^(C) of vengeance^(D)
    and wrapped himself in zeal^(E) as in a cloak.

⁶ Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
    you have uprooted their cities;^(A)
    even the memory of them^(B) has perished.

⁷ The Lord reigns forever;^(C)
    he has established his throne^(D) for judgment.
⁸ He rules the world in righteousness^(E)
    and judges the peoples with equity.^(F)
