Job 1:7-9

⁷ The Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “^(A)From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.” ⁸ The Lord said to Satan, “Have you ^[a]considered ^(B)My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, ^(C)a blameless and upright man, ^[b]fearing God and turning away from evil.” ⁹ Then ^(D)Satan answered the ^[c]Lord, “Does Job fear God for nothing?
