⁶ My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back^(A) to this land. I will build^(B) them up and not tear them down; I will plant^(C) them and not uproot them.

¹⁰ ‘If you stay in this land,^(A) I will build^(B) you up and not tear you down; I will plant^(C) you and not uproot you,^(D) for I have relented concerning the disaster I have inflicted on you.^(E)

⁴ But the Lord has told me to say to you, ‘This is what the Lord says: I will overthrow what I have built and uproot^(A) what I have planted,^(B) throughout the earth.^(C)

²⁰ built^(A) on the foundation^(B) of the apostles and prophets,^(C) with Christ Jesus himself^(D) as the chief cornerstone.^(E)

²¹ In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple^(A) in the Lord.

⁵ you also, like living stones, are being built^(A) into a spiritual house^[a](B) to be a holy priesthood,^(C) offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.^(D)
