¹³ You will arise^(A) and have compassion^(B) on Zion,
    for it is time^(C) to show favor^(D) to her;
    the appointed time^(E) has come.
¹⁴ For her stones are dear to your servants;
    her very dust moves them to pity.
¹⁵ The nations will fear^(F) the name of the Lord,
    all the kings^(G) of the earth will revere your glory.
¹⁶ For the Lord will rebuild Zion^(H)
    and appear in his glory.^(I)

⁴ For as in the day of Midian’s defeat,^(A)
    you have shattered^(B)
the yoke^(C) that burdens them,
    the bar across their shoulders,^(D)
    the rod of their oppressor.^(E)
