93 Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty;
Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith:
The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
² Thy throne is established of old:
Thou art from everlasting.
³ The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah,
The floods have lifted up their voice;
The floods lift up their ^[a]waves.
⁴ Above the voices of many waters,
The mighty breakers of the sea,
Jehovah on high is mighty.
⁵ Thy testimonies are very sure:
Holiness becometh thy house,
O Jehovah, for evermore.

94 O Jehovah, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth,
Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth.
² Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth:
Render to the proud their desert.
³ Jehovah, how long shall the wicked,
How long shall the wicked triumph?
⁴ They prate, they speak arrogantly:
All the workers of iniquity boast themselves.
⁵ They break in pieces thy people, O Jehovah,
And afflict thy heritage.
⁶ They slay the widow and the sojourner,
And murder the fatherless.
⁷ And they say, ^[b]Jehovah will not see,
Neither will the God of Jacob consider.
⁸ Consider, ye brutish among the people;
And ye fools, when will ye be wise?
⁹ He that planted the ear, shall he not hear?
He that formed the eye, shall he not see?
¹⁰ He that ^[c]chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct,
Even he that teacheth man knowledge?
¹¹ Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man,
^[d]That they are ^[e]vanity.
¹² Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O ^[f]Jehovah,
And teachest out of thy law;
¹³ That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity,
Until the pit be digged for the wicked.
¹⁴ For Jehovah will not cast off his people,
Neither will he forsake his inheritance.
¹⁵ For judgment shall return unto righteousness;
And all the upright in heart shall follow it.
¹⁶ Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers?
Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
¹⁷ Unless Jehovah had been my help,
My soul had soon dwelt in silence.
¹⁸ When I said, My foot slippeth;
Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, held me up.
¹⁹ In the multitude of my ^[g]thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul.
²⁰ Shall the ^[h]throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee,
Which frameth mischief by statute?
²¹ They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous,
And condemn the innocent blood.
²² But Jehovah hath been my high tower,
And my God the rock of my refuge.
²³ And he hath brought upon them their own iniquity,
And will cut them off in their own wickedness;
Jehovah our God will cut them off.

95 Oh come, let us sing unto Jehovah;
Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
² Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving;
Let us make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
³ For Jehovah is a great God,
And a great King above all gods.
⁴ In his hand are the deep places of the earth;
The ^[i]heights of the mountains are his also.
⁵ The sea is his, and he made it;
And his hands formed the dry land.
⁶ Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker:
⁷ For he is our God,
And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
To-day, ^[j]oh that ye would hear his voice!
⁸ Harden not your heart, as at ^[k]Meribah,
As in the day of ^[l]Massah in the wilderness;
⁹ When your fathers tempted me,
Proved me, and saw my work.
¹⁰ Forty years long was I grieved with that generation,
And said, It is a people that do err in their heart,
And they have not known my ways:
¹¹ Wherefore I sware in my wrath,
That they should not enter into my rest.

96 Oh sing unto Jehovah a new song:
Sing unto Jehovah, all the earth.
² Sing unto Jehovah, bless his name;
Show forth his salvation from day to day.
³ Declare his glory among the nations,
His marvellous works among all the peoples.
⁴ For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised:
He is to be feared above all gods.
⁵ For all the gods of the peoples are ^[m]idols;
But Jehovah made the heavens.
⁶ Honor and majesty are before him:
Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
⁷ Ascribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples,
Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.
⁸ Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name:
Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
⁹ Oh worship Jehovah ^[n]in holy array:
Tremble before him, all the earth.
¹⁰ Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth:
The world also is established that it cannot be moved:
He will judge the peoples with equity.
¹¹ Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;
¹² Let the field exult, and all that is therein;
Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy
¹³ Before Jehovah; for he cometh,
For he cometh to judge the earth:
He will judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples ^[o]with his truth.

97 Jehovah reigneth; let the earth rejoice;
Let the multitude of isles be glad.
² Clouds and darkness are round about him:
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
³ A fire goeth before him,
And burneth up his adversaries round about.
⁴ His lightnings lightened the world:
The earth saw, and trembled.
⁵ The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah,
At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness,
And all the peoples have seen his glory.
⁷ Let all them be put to shame that serve graven images,
That boast themselves of idols:
Worship him, all ye gods.
⁸ Zion heard and was glad,
And the daughters of Judah rejoiced,
Because of thy judgments, O Jehovah.
⁹ For thou, Jehovah, art most high above all the earth:
Thou art exalted far above all gods.
¹⁰ O ye that love Jehovah, hate evil:
He preserveth the souls of his saints;
He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
¹¹ Light is sown for the righteous,
And gladness for the upright in heart.
¹² Be glad in Jehovah, ye righteous;
And give thanks to his holy memorial name.
