The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.

A Psalm of David.

²³ But each in his own order: Christ ^(A)the first fruits, after that ^(B)those who are Christ’s at ^(C)His coming, ²⁴ then comes the end, when He hands over ^(D)the kingdom to our ^(E)God and Father, when He has abolished ^(F)all rule and all authority and power. ²⁵ For He must reign ^(G)until He has put all His enemies under His feet. ²⁶ The last enemy that will be ^(H)abolished is death. ²⁷ For ^(I)He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “^(J)All things are put in subjection,” it is clear that ^[a]this excludes the Father who put all things in subjection to Him.

¹² but He, having offered one sacrifice ^(A)for ^[a]sins ^(B)for all time, ^(C)sat down at the right hand of God, ¹³ waiting from that time onward ^(D)until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet.
