¹⁷ Charge them that are rich in this present ^[a]world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

¹⁰ for Demas forsook me, having loved this present ^[a]world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to ^[b]Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.

¹² instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present ^[a]world;
