⁵ Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be mine own possession ^[a]from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine:

⁶ and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

⁶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, ^[a]I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children.
