⁷ The Lord is my strength^(A) and my shield;
    my heart trusts^(B) in him, and he helps me.

¹¹ You turned my wailing^(A) into dancing;^(B)
    you removed my sackcloth^(C) and clothed me with joy,^(D)

²⁷ May those who delight in my vindication^(A)
    shout for joy^(B) and gladness;
may they always say, “The Lord be exalted,
    who delights^(C) in the well-being of his servant.”^(D)

⁷ You love righteousness^(A) and hate wickedness;^(B)
    therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
    by anointing^(C) you with the oil of joy.^(D)

¹⁵ Led in with joy and gladness,^(A)
    they enter the palace of the king.
