    Then Jesus *arrived from Galilee at the Jordan, coming to John to be baptized by him.

  8. But when they believed Philip as he was preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were being baptized.
  9. (For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
  10. And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on for a few days.
  11. Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
  12. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
  13. Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
