⁹ But ^(A)Michael ^(B)the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about ^(C)the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said, “^(D)The Lord rebuke you!”

²¹ However, I will tell you what is recorded in the writing of ^(A)truth. Yet there is no one who ^[a]stands firmly with me against these forces except ^(B)Michael your prince.

The Time of the End

12 “Now at that time ^(A)Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a ^(B)time of distress ^(C)such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the ^(D)book, will be rescued.

The Angel, Michael

⁷ And there was war in heaven, ^(A)Michael and his angels waging war with the ^(B)dragon. The dragon and ^(C)his angels waged war, ⁸ and they did not prevail, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.

The Death of Moses

34 ^(A)Now Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the Lord ^(B)showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan, ² and all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah as far as the ^[a](C)western sea, ³ and the ^[b]Negev and the territory in the Valley of Jericho, ^(D)the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. ⁴ Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land which ^(E)I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your ^[c]descendants’; I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not go over there.” ⁵ So Moses ^(F)the servant of the Lord ^(G)died there in the land of Moab, in accordance with the ^[d]word of the Lord. ⁶ And He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, ^(H)opposite Beth-peor; but ^(I)no one knows his burial place to this day.

Joshua, the High Priest

3 Then he showed me ^(A)Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and ^[a](B)Satan standing at his right to accuse him. ² And the Lord said to Satan, “^(C)The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has ^(D)chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a ^(E)log snatched from the fire?” ³ Now Joshua was clothed in ^(F)filthy garments and was standing before the angel. ⁴ And he responded and said to those who were standing before him, saying, “^(G)Remove the filthy garments from him.” Again he said to him, “See, I have ^(H)taken your guilt away from you and ^[b]will ^(I)clothe you with festive robes.”
