²⁷ Behold, therefore, I stretched out my hand against you ^(A)and diminished your allotted portion ^(B)and delivered you to the greed of your enemies, ^(C)the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd behavior.

⁵⁷ before your wickedness was uncovered? Now you have become ^(A)an object of reproach for the daughters of Syria^[a] and all those around her, and for ^(B)the daughters of the Philistines, ^(C)those all around who despise you.

Prophecy Against Philistia

¹⁵ “Thus says the Lord God: Because ^(A)the Philistines ^(B)acted revengefully and took vengeance ^(C)with malice of soul to destroy in never-ending enmity,

¹⁶ therefore thus says the Lord God, ^(A)Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off ^(B)the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast.
