²⁸ Like the appearance of ^(A)the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.

Such was the appearance of the likeness of ^(B)the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, ^(C)I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

⁴ And behold, ^(A)the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw ^(B)in the valley.

³ Now ^(A)the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub on which it rested to ^(B)the threshold of the house. And he called to ^(C)the man clothed in linen, who had the writing case at his waist.

^19 (A)And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth ^(B)before my eyes as they went out, with the wheels beside them. And they stood at the entrance of the ^(C)east gate of the house of the Lord, and ^(D)the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

^20 (A)These were the living creatures that I saw ^(B)underneath the God of Israel by ^(C)the Chebar canal; and I knew that they were cherubim.
