4 Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet(A) and rest under this tree. 5 Let me get you something to eat,(B) so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant.”
“Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.”
6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahs[a] of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”(C)
7 Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf(D) and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it. 8 He then brought some curds(E) and milk(F) and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them.(G) While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.

5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
