¹⁴ And ^(A)the Word ^(B)became flesh and ^(C)dwelt among us, ^(D)and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son^[a] from the Father, full of ^(E)grace and ^(F)truth.

^18 (A)No one has ever seen God; ^(B)the only God,^[a] who is at the Father's side,^{[b] (C)}he has made him known.

³⁴ And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son^[a] of God.”

^40 (A)One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus^[a] was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

For God So Loved the World

¹⁶ “For ^(A)God so loved ^(B)the world,^{[a] (C)}that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not ^(D)perish but have eternal life.

^18 (A)Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not ^(B)believed in the name of the only Son of God.

²⁵ “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)an hour is coming, and is now here, when ^(B)the dead will hear ^(C)the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear ^(D)will live.

⁶ He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. ^7 (A)Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii^[a] worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.” ⁸ One of his disciples, ^(B)Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, ⁹ “There is a boy here who has five ^(C)barley loaves and two fish, but ^(D)what are they for so many?”
