Anger

^21 (A)“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ^(B)‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable ^(C)to judgment.’

²² But I say to you that ^(A)everyone who is angry with his brother^[a] will be liable ^(B)to judgment; whoever insults^[b] his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to ^(C)the hell^[c] of fire.

Judging Others

7 ^(A)“Judge not, that you be not judged.

^2 (A)For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and ^(B)with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

³³ You serpents, ^(A)you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to ^(B)hell?
