Certainly the righteous will give thanks to Your name; The upright will dwell in Your presence.

Therefore I have come out to meet you, To seek your presence diligently, and I have found you.

You will multiply the nation, You will increase their joy; They will rejoice in Your presence As with the joy of harvest, As people rejoice when they divide the spoils.

Prayer for Mercy and Help

Oh, that You would tear open the heavens and come down, That the mountains would quake at Your presence—

As fire kindles brushwood, as fire causes water to boil— To make Your name known to Your adversaries, That the nations may tremble at Your presence!

When You did awesome things which we did not expect, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence.

But as for me, I have not hurried away from being a shepherd following after You, Nor have I longed for the disastrous day; You Yourself know that the utterance of my lips Was in Your presence.

Then let our appearance be examined in your presence and the appearance of the youths who are eating the king’s choice food; and deal with your servants according to what you see.”

Then you will begin saying, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets!’

You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’
