Psalm 106:29-31

Christian Standard Bible

²⁹They angered the Lord with their deeds,
and a plague broke out against them.^(A)
³⁰But Phinehas stood up and intervened,
and the plague was stopped.^(B)
³¹It was credited to him as righteousness
throughout all generations to come.^(C)
