Hebrews 10:5-9
English Standard Version
5 Consequently, (A)when Christ[a] came into the world, he said,
(B)“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
but a body have you prepared for me;
6 in burnt offerings and sin offerings
you have taken no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,
as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”
8 When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in (C)sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9 then he added, (D)“Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second.

5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world,(A) he said:
“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,

6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.
7 Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll(C)—
I have come to do your will, my God.’”[a](D)
8 First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”(E)—though they were offered in accordance with the law. 9 Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.”(F) He sets aside the first to establish the second.
