16 When we got to Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself, with a soldier to guard him.(A)

17 Three days later he called together the local Jewish leaders.(B) When they had assembled, Paul said to them: “My brothers,(C) although I have done nothing against our people(D) or against the customs of our ancestors,(E) I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans.

16 And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.
17 And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
