³⁸ “This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day:^(A) two lambs a year old. ³⁹ Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight.^{(B) 40} With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah^[a] of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin^[b] of oil^(C) from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.^{(D) 41} Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight^(E) with the same grain offering^(F) and its drink offering as in the morning—a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.

⁴² “For the generations to come^(G) this burnt offering is to be made regularly^(H) at the entrance to the tent of meeting,^(I) before the Lord. There I will meet you and speak to you;^(J)

⁴ Offer one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,^{(A) 5} together with a grain offering^(B) of a tenth of an ephah^[a] of the finest flour^(C) mixed with a quarter of a hin^[b] of oil^(D) from pressed olives. ⁶ This is the regular burnt offering^(E) instituted at Mount Sinai^(F) as a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.^{(G) 7} The accompanying drink offering^(H) is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink^(I) with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the Lord at the sanctuary.^{(J) 8} Offer the second lamb at twilight,^(K) along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you offer in the morning.^(L) This is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(M)

Sabbath Offerings

⁹ “‘On the Sabbath^(N) day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect,^(O) together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah^[c](P) of the finest flour mixed with olive oil.^{(Q) 10} This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath,^(R) in addition to the regular burnt offering^(S) and its drink offering.

John Testifies About Jesus

²⁹ The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God,^(A) who takes away the sin of the world!^(B)
