¹⁸ And ^(A)they will listen to your voice, and you and the elders of Israel ^(B)shall go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has ^(C)met with us; and now, please let us go a three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.’

³ Then they said, “The ^(A)God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go a three days' journey into the wilderness that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest he fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.”

¹⁶ And you shall say to him, ‘The ^(A)Lord, the God of the Hebrews, sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, ^(B)that they may serve me in the wilderness.” But so far, you have not obeyed.

²⁴ Then Pharaoh called Moses and said, ^(A)“Go, serve the Lord; ^(B)your little ones also may go with you; only let your flocks and your herds remain behind.”
