Leviticus 1:3-4
New International Version
3 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering(A) from the herd,(B) you are to offer a male without defect.(C) You must present it at the entrance to the tent(D) of meeting so that it will be acceptable(E) to the Lord. 4 You are to lay your hand on the head(F) of the burnt offering,(G) and it will be accepted(H) on your behalf to make atonement(I) for you.

3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord.
4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
