Proverbs 13:11-13

New International Version

¹¹Dishonest money dwindles away,^(A)
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

¹²Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.^(B)

¹³Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it,^(C)
but whoever respects^(D) a command is rewarded.^(E)
