¹² and the plan of all that he had in ^[a]mind, for the courtyards of the house of the Lord, and for all the surrounding rooms, for ^(A)the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things;

⁵ had prepared a large ^[a]room for him, where previously they used to put the grain offerings, the frankincense, the utensils and the tithes of grain, wine, and oil ^(A)prescribed for the Levites, the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the ^[b]contributions for the priests.

⁹ Then I gave an order, and ^(A)they cleansed the rooms; and I returned the utensils of the house of God there with the grain offering and the frankincense.

⁴ and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the ^(A)man of God, which was next to the chamber of the officials, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, ^(B)the doorkeeper.

¹⁰ Then Baruch read to all the people from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord in the ^(A)chamber of ^(B)Gemariah the son of Shaphan the ^(C)scribe, in the upper courtyard, at the ^(D)entry of the New Gate of the Lord’s house.

¹⁷ Then he brought me into the ^(A)outer courtyard, and behold, there were ^(B)chambers and a stone pavement made for the courtyard all around; thirty chambers ^[a]faced the pavement.

¹⁰ and the outer ^(A)chambers was twenty cubits in width around the temple on every side.

¹³ Then he said to me, “The north chambers and the south chambers, which are opposite the ^(A)separate area, they are the ^(B)holy chambers where the priests who are ^(C)near to the Lord shall eat the ^(D)most holy things. There they shall set the most holy things, the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering; for the place is holy.
