1 Corinthians 2:8-10

8 None of the rulers of this age comprehended it. If they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.[a] 9 For as it is written,
“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard,
nor has the human heart imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.”
10 The Spirit Enables Faith To Mature. However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.

- 1 Corinthians 2:8 Here the Lord of glory is Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament, it is a title of God (see Ex 24:16; Pss 24:7; 29:9); Paul is therefore asserting here the divinity of Jesus.

New International Version
8 None of the rulers of this age(A) understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.(B) 9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[a]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—(C)
10 these are the things God has revealed(D) to us by his Spirit.(E)
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
