1 Corinthians 2:9-16
Holman Christian Standard Bible
9 But as it is written:
What eye did not see and ear did not hear,
and what never entered the human mind—
God prepared this for those who love Him.(A)[a]
10 Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything,(B) even the depths of God.(C) 11 For who among men knows the thoughts[b] of a man except the spirit(D) of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows(E) the thoughts[c] of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God. 13 We also speak these things, not in words(F) taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.[d] 14 But the unbeliever[e] does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated[f] spiritually. 15 The spiritual person, however, can evaluate[g] everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated[h] by anyone. 16 For
But we have the mind of Christ.(H)

New International Version
9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[a]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—(A)
10 these are the things God has revealed(B) to us by his Spirit.(C)
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts(D) except their own spirit(E) within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit(F) of the world,(G) but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom(H) but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[b] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God(I) but considers them foolishness,(J) and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit(K) makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,
But we have the mind of Christ.(M)
