1 Corinthians 6:4-6
New American Standard Bible
4 So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, [a]do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church? 5 (A)I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you anyone wise who will be able to decide between his (B)brothers and sisters, 6 but brother goes to law with brother, and that before (C)unbelievers?

4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church? 5 I say this to shame you.(A) Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers?(B) 6 But instead, one brother(C) takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!(D)
