26 [a]These things have I written unto you, concerning them that deceive you.

27 But that [b]anointing which ye received of him, dwelleth in you: and ye [c]need not that any man teach you: but as the same [d]anointing teacheth you of all things, and it is true and is not lying, and as it taught you, ye shall abide in him.

28 [e]And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may be bold, and not be ashamed before him, at his coming.

But as his anointing teaches you about all things(C) and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.(D)
