15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God. 16 And we have come to know and have believed the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God resides in him. 17 By this love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as that one is, so also are we in this world.

15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God,(A) God lives in them and they in God.(B) 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love.(C) Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.(D) 17 This is how love is made complete(E) among us so that we will have confidence(F) on the day of judgment:(G) In this world we are like Jesus.
