24 and there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They did the same abominations as those of the nations that Adonai had driven out before the children of Israel.
25 Now it came to pass in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, King Shishak of Egypt marched against Jerusalem. 26 He took away the treasures of the House of Adonai and the treasures of the royal palace. He took away everything—even taking all the golden shields that Solomon had made.

24 There were even male shrine prostitutes(A) in the land; the people engaged in all the detestable(B) practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.
25 In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt attacked(C) Jerusalem. 26 He carried off the treasures of the temple(D) of the Lord and the treasures of the royal palace. He took everything, including all the gold shields(E) Solomon had made.
