23 So now Adonai has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours; meanwhile, Adonai has ordained disaster for you.”
24 Then Tzidkiyah the son of Kena‘anah came up, slapped Mikhay’hu in the face and said, “And how did the Spirit of Adonai leave me to speak to you?” 25 Mikhay’hu said, “You’ll find out the day you go into an inside room, trying to hide.”

23 “So now the Lord has put a deceiving(A) spirit in the mouths of all these prophets(B) of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster(C) for you.”
24 Then Zedekiah(D) son of Kenaanah went up and slapped(E) Micaiah in the face. “Which way did the spirit from[a] the Lord go when he went from me to speak(F) to you?” he asked.
25 Micaiah replied, “You will find out on the day you go to hide(G) in an inner room.”
