29 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead.

28 Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to fight against Hazael(A) king of Aram in Ramoth-gilead,(B) and the Arameans wounded Joram. 29 So King Joram returned to Jezreel(C) to recover from the wounds that the Arameans had inflicted on him in Ramoth-gilead[a] when he fought against Aram’s King Hazael.(D) Then Judah’s King Ahaziah son of Jehoram went down to Jezreel to visit Joram son of Ahab since Joram was ill.

28 Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead.(A) The Arameans wounded Joram; 29 so King Joram returned to Jezreel(B) to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramoth[a] in his battle with Hazael(C) king of Aram.
Then Ahaziah(D) son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to see Joram son of Ahab, because he had been wounded.
