^10 (A) Suddenly a cloud filled the temple as the priests were leaving the most holy place.

¹¹ The Lord's glory was in the cloud, and the light from it was so bright that the priests could not stay inside to do their work.

^4 (A) As they shouted, the doorposts of the temple shook, and the temple was filled with smoke.

⁴ and the Lord's glory came through the east gate and into the temple.^[a]

⁵ The Lord's Spirit lifted me to my feet and carried me to the inner courtyard, where I saw that the Lord's glory had filled the temple.

^8 (A) The temple quickly filled with smoke from the glory and power of God. No one could enter it until the seven angels had finished pouring out the seven last troubles.
