⁶¹ Let your heart be completely devoted to the Lord our God^(A) to walk in His statutes and to keep His commands, as it is today.”

⁹ “As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind,^(A) for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought.^(B) If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.^(C)

⁷ Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves^(A) a cheerful giver.
