1 Samuel 12:4-6

4 They replied, “You have not wronged us or oppressed us. You have not taken anything from the hand of anyone.” 5 He said to them, “The Lord is witness against you, and his chosen king[a] is witness this day, that you have not found any reason to accuse me.”[b] They said, “He is witness!”
6 Samuel said to the people, “The Lord is the one who chose Moses and Aaron and who brought your ancestors[c] up from the land of Egypt.

4 “You have not cheated or oppressed us,” they replied. “You have not taken anything from anyone’s hand.”
5 Samuel said to them, “The Lord is witness(A) against you, and also his anointed is witness this day, that you have not found anything(B) in my hand.(C)”
“He is witness,” they said.
6 Then Samuel said to the people, “It is the Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought(D) your ancestors up out of Egypt.
