Asa Rules in Judah

⁹ Asa began to rule over Judah in the twentieth year of Jeroboam’s reign in Israel. ¹⁰ He reigned in Jerusalem forty-one years. His grandmother^[a] was Maacah, the granddaughter of Absalom.
