¹⁶So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon^(A) to Gezer.^(B)

¹⁶David therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer.

²⁵So David did as the Lord commanded him, and he struck down the Philistines^(A) all the way from Gibeon^[a]^(B) to Gezer.^(C)

²⁵And David did so, as the Lord had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.
