²⁹But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

New International Version

²⁹What I mean, brothers and sisters, is that the time is short.^(A) From now on those who have wives should live as if they do not;

²⁹But ^(A)this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

³⁰And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

³⁰those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep;

³⁰those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess,
