¹⁶Then Samuel said to Saul, “Wait a minute!^[a] Let me tell you what the Lord said to me last night.” Saul^[b] said to him, “Tell me.”

¹⁶“Enough!” Samuel said to Saul. “Let me tell you what the Lord said to me last night.”

“Tell me,” Saul replied.

¹⁶Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the Lord hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.
