Now (A)the destruction of Ahaziah was from God, in that [a]he went to Joram. For when he arrived, (B)he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, (C)whom the Lord had anointed to eliminate the house of Ahab.

He then went in search of Ahaziah, and his men captured him while he was hiding(A) in Samaria. He was brought to Jehu and put to death.
