28 ^(A)Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for sixteen years. ^(B)He did not do what was right in the sight of the Lord as his father David had done.

^2 (A)He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of his father David and did not turn aside to the right or the left.
