9 And Hezeki′ah questioned the priests and the Levites about the heaps. 10 Azari′ah the chief priest, who was of the house of Zadok, answered him, “Since they began to bring the contributions into the house of the Lord we have eaten and had enough and have plenty left; for the Lord has blessed his people, so that we have this great store left.”

11 Then Hezeki′ah commanded them to prepare chambers in the house of the Lord; and they prepared them.

9 Hezekiah asked the priests and Levites about the heaps; 10 and Azariah the chief priest, from the family of Zadok,(A) answered, “Since the people began to bring their contributions to the temple of the Lord, we have had enough to eat and plenty to spare, because the Lord has blessed his people, and this great amount is left over.”(B)
11 Hezekiah gave orders to prepare storerooms in the temple of the Lord, and this was done.
