New International Version

²¹God made him who had no sin^(A) to be sin^[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.^(B)

³⁶^(A)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; ^(B)whoever does not obey the Son shall not ^(C)see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

³⁶Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,^(A) but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
