8 Be watching yourselves in order that you[a] may not lose[b] the things which we[c] accomplished, but may receive a full reward. 9 Everyone going-ahead[d] and not abiding in the teaching of Christ does not have God; the one abiding in the teaching— this one has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you[e] and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into the house[f] and do not speak greetings to him.

8 Watch out that you do not lose what we[a] have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.(A) 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ(B) does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.(C) 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them.(D)
